follow up coverage of WA state ESD UI fraud situation, claims and counter-claims about who was noticing what when

For those who have kept some tabs on the unemployment insurance fraud situation that happened with the Washington State Employment Security Division ...

There are claims and counter claims to the effect that 1) federal agents warned Washington state's ESD of a spike in fraud claims and 2) the ESD noticed things themselves.  Since reporting of late mentions that ESD employees themselves showed up in fraudulent claims there are questions as to how and why ESD didn't notice the fraudulent claims quicker if it's turned out that among those fraudulent claims were names of people who aren't  unemployed and were, apparently, processing claims?

Washington state as, based on other reports gotten back about 300 million of the fraudulently routed funds but things are still pending.
