I still find Jantzen’s overview of the uses and abuses of
the doctrine of special providence by white supremacists to be a compelling
overview. But I do have reservations
about some of Jantzen’s readings of books cited. For instance, I went and read Berkouwer’s
book on the doctrine of Providence.
