surprise! Let the next president worry about the tanker deal

No surprise, really, it's just fun to include the word in a blog entry. Surely people saw this coming.

The argument that soldiers in wartime shouldn't have to deal with this is a good one. On the other hand, pork barrel politics and deal rigging and battles over who gets what contract ARE part of life in the military-industrial relationship. It's not generally cool ... but soldiers don't need to be told this stuff happens.
