I noted this a couple of years back but by the time Mark and Grace Driscoll's Spirit-Filled Jesus was released most of the campuses of the former Mars Hill Church had survived to relaunch as new churches.
We can do a brief trip down memory lane, however:
Mars Hill Albuquerque turned into North Church and then, it seems, back into City on a Hill Church

An exception has been the former Mars Hill Portland. Mars Hill Portland merged with Door of Hope back in 2018. We kept track of that, albeit from Puget Sound, in the past
Mars Hill Rainier Valley became Rainier Valley Church
They seem to still exist, if having a bumpy spell according to the Secretary of State records where they were late filing an annual report.
Mars Hill Shoreline became Sound City
Mars Hill Spokane became Redemption
Mars Hill Tacoma became Resurrection Church
West Seattle became Trinity West Seattle.
When the former Mars Hill West Seattle became Trinity West they ended up, like their predecessors, having to buy back their own church building from the church/corporate entity that owned it, a strange real estate irony

Also of interest would be how many previously existing churches were absorbed into Mars Hill (or closed after many members joined a MH site).
West Seattle was definitely a previously existing church absorbed into MH in terms of real estate, and both Bill Clem and James Noriega were at that A29 church plant, if memory serves, that was assimilated into MH. I have extensive documentation for that specific campus/church but I'd need time to wade through research done on the campuses to find out whether or not congregations were assimilated into MH. Bellevue may have started as a plant that was assimilated back into the fold but if it was a MH/A29 plant that was re-absorbed back in does that count? I only dimly remember that campus/spin-off. I mean ...

But it would be interesting to find out how many A29 and MH campuses were assimilated rather than planted from scratch the way David Nicholas seemed to want church planting done.
I can tell you, MH culture is still a problem, at least it was in Tacoma. Bubba has big visions of church planting and may even have his own bus. We just left this past year. I'd love to see someone seriously investigate the cultures in these spin off/replanted churches.
That would be interesting and probably helpful, although people with connections to the spin-offs would be better-situated for that. I managed to do what I could for MH itself circa 2010-2015 and post-mortem but tracking so many campuses post-MH in their replanted form is beyond me.
