2015 – Present (1 year)

- Appointment as corporate president of the board of directors; as well as promotion to general manager, in charge of leading the transition team

Still present-tense president and general manager.

So it would seem that we're not looking at a case where the inactive listing just hasn't kicked in on the WA SOS side.  It's seeming more likely there may be a transaction or two that need to be finalized in the near future before the organization can officially be considered inactive.

Last year Sutton Turner blogged to the effect that he had intended to publicly disclose numbers connected to Mars Hill Global activity but was threatened by lawyers connected to Mars Hill.  Once the corporation is formally inactive and dissolved perhaps Turner will disclose all those numbers?

In closing ... that listed agent name may be misspelled. There is ... a Joshua Bowen ...

It ... kinda looks like there isn't a single non-Mars Hill job mentioned anywhere in that professional history.  From the year he finished studies at the University of Washington in 2011 until now he's only listed Mars Hill as his employer.  Well, that's interesting.

There are pastors who were at Mars Hill who say less on their LinkedIn profiles about their time there.

So, anyway, it would appear that with at least two guys saying they are still currently employed at/by Mars Hill Church that there's some work left to be done.

Hey, Wenatchee. You don't know me; I live far away from the Pacific Northwest. However, I have been following your blog for several years, and I just want to say "thank-you". Seriously, man, thank-you for all the time and energy you put into your blog. I don't know if anybody ever affirms the value of your tireless work; I certainly hope they do -- so that my silly little note might not be the first time you encounter such heartfelt gratitude. But just in case no one else has told you recently, your efforts to provide accurate and helpful/fruitful insights are appreciated TREMENDOUSLY by knuckleheads like me. Thank-you, my friend, from the bottom of my heart. Keep fighting the good fight, and keep on being the most respectable blogger I know.

Respectful,
Appreciative,
Grateful,
Wishing You All the Best,
Jason
