markdriscoll.org on a hiatus? UPDATE: it looks like it's back up

We're sorry, but something went wrong.

We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly.

It might just be that without the formal dissolution being in place yet the markdriscoll.org website is down pending the formal dissolution of MH and everything can go up once that's official.  "If" that's the case then 2015 will see the site and associated materials go up.

Meanwhile, the most probable outcome (assuming Driscoll will never actually back out of ministry as a career) is that Driscoll and his associated allies are transitioning to Texas for a re-launch of Driscollian ministry from Texas. Ever since Driscoll shook hands with T. D. Jakes and signaled that maybe Joel Osteen wasn't so bad after all a more TBN tilted Driscoll would seem to be at least a possibility.  In light of the ideas promulgated in his 2008 spiritual warfare session more TBN-friendly ideas may have been taking root as far back as seven years ago.

Or the website may go up again before today ends.

And it looks like it came back up.

Or perhaps because he didn't check to see if there was another Learning for Living out there???

I wonder how much money he had already taken in "application pending tax deductible" donations...

I guess I'm naive on this one. I've always thought his stance on gender roles, especially in the church would make him anathema to those groups. I still don't see how he backs out of that

Well in 2007 Driscoll ripped on Jakes as a word-faith nutjob but in 2012 shook hands with him as though Jakes had fully renounced modalism and didn't have any word-faith teaching anymore. Driscoll's done enough abrupt 180s over the last eight years we shouldn't entirely rule out the possibility of his seeing the light and becoming an egalitarian if it opens up a new pathway to staying in ministry.
