Wenatchee The Hatchet
dude. he's straight up 404.
so that's 2 of the 9 who have vanished from the roster, isn't it?
Ryan Kearns is missing too.
Never mind, false alarm. But Dustin's gone, hey? That's a shame. He is probably the only guy with enough name recognition to stand up to Driscoll, and he seemed to have been the leader in the group of nine pastors who wrote that letter recently.
http://marshill.com/pastors/ryan-kearnsKearns is still over on the side listings even if he doesn't have a mug shot on the main page.Kearns may have departed or not but we won't be sure for a while. Meanwhile, his profile page still comes up. Tom Hardy's Bane would say, "For now ... . "
keep in mind that Munson was listed as Pastor Jamie Munson for months on The City internally while not having a publicly viewable profile for regular sites, as WtH has documented in the last year. But Kensrue disappearing doesn't sound like one of those kinds of cases, not by a long shot.
Since Dustin Kensrue is a celebrity (more or less) I'm sure he made his exit quietly so as not ignite the news media.
maybe, Jeremy, but that'd be sort of like the Edge leaving U2 as quietly as possible, to use a surely imperfect analogy. It's not like nobody's noticed Kensrue's gone missing from the pastor roster. He might still be in one or two bands, though.
Dee Parsons tweeted 4 leaders resigned including 3 of the 9.https://twitter.com/wartwatch/status/506983622755487744
WtH -Have you seen this?http://standupforthetruth.com/2014/09/abandoned-culture-gave-rise-mark-driscoll/It's an interesting article on leader/church strategy that might explain the bus messes.
Gary Shavey and Adam Ramsey of the 9 have also went 404.
Also the fourth pastor in the Dee Parsons tweet Josh Clayton is also missing from the MH pastors page so I would say that confirms that all four are gone.
Hey WH here's an interesting post for you. Compare MH Job listings from Oct '13 (as far as WayBack goes) to today. A great illustration of how things have changed in less than a year.
so, here's a question: what's the end result? there are only a handful of people in MHC who's role or position gives them an influence in all the churches. Adam Ramsey and Dustin Kensrue were two of those men and now they're been forced out.At what point do you just say "it's over and nothing is going to change"?
At what point? 2007.
